For Large amounts Staged trash in piles out of the the right-of-way, at least 50’ from a campsite, where they can easily be loaded onto a truck.
If trash is staged on city-owned land, the City of Oakland will remove. To report use the City of Oakland Online Reporting Tool or get the Oak311 App. Typical response times are less than 5 days.
Note that the areas around highways are managed by Caltrans, and pickup will be infrequent.
