This has been a dumping spot in the past, less so today. There is more litter today because this area is getting used more now that the main overlooks are closed.
Hazards & Safety
BLIND CURVES, make sure to wear safety gear on this section. Do not clean during busy periods.
Consider skipping sections that cannot be cleaned safely when there is traffic on the road.
Significant amounts of poison oak along roadside.
Moderately steep slopes, best accessed by repelling on ropes.
Getting There & Parking
Parking at pullovers.
Trash Disposal
Small amounts, can be put in or nearby cans at Grizzly Peak overlooks.
Large amounts, pile off the right-of-way, where it can easily be loaded into a truck.
