Because of the strong winds in this area, most of the trash is transported from where it is dropped, and collects on the windward side of fences and under bushes.

The fences and bushes around parking areas are particularly common collection points; as are hard-to-get-to spots under bushes near picnic areas, the playground, and walkways.

The area around trash cans generally collects micro-trash. Clean, inviting trash cans get used more often, and maintaining trash cans is recommended.
