About this Spot
Grizzly Peak Blvd from the Jordan Fire Trail (Signpost 11) to the large hairpin pullover on the North side of the road (about 0.4 miles) up the road.
Midway along this segment is a gated road marked by Signpost 12 on the South side; further along is a bouldering area on the North side.
Trash Note
Trash is mostly litter, occasional dumping at hairpin pullover, most litter is concentrated along the road, especially in parking areas. A significant amount of trash flows downhill from the road on both sides, be sure clean below the road.
Hazards & Safety
Watch for fast moving cars along Grizzly Peak Blvd.
The hairpin turn is blind, be extremely careful pulling over into the hairpin pullover. If you miss it, you can turn around at the overlooks further on.
Significant amounts of poison oak along roadside.
Getting There & Parking
Parking along Grizzly.
Trash Disposal
Small amounts, can be put in or nearby cans at Grizzly Peak overlook.
Large amounts, pile off the right-of-way, where it can easily be loaded into a truck.
