About this Spot
5.6 Acre park with ball fields, a skate park, and play areas.
This park is large enough that it will need to be sectioned off to thoroughly clean it.
Codornices Creek is an important wildlife resource, and this creek still support steelhead trout. Care should be taken to avoid damaging planting. To avoid damaging fish spawning areas, do not wade in the creek.
There are campsites in some parts of this park.
Trash Note
Litter around parks is typically found in parking areas and nearby streets as well as the park itself. In parks, trash is typically found near picnic, and sitting areas, and along pathways.
In windy regions, trash will collect along fences and in bushes. In areas with hills or creeks, trash will collect downslope from roads and walkways.
The area around trash cans generally collects micro-trash. Clean, inviting trash cans get used more often, and maintaining trash cans is recommended.
Avoid cleaning active campsites unless you talk to the residents and get guidance from residents about what can be taken away. Potentially needles around homeless campsites.
