About this Spot

Heavily-used overlook previously, the single-most trashed overlook along this Grizzly Peak.

Significant legacy trash still in the canyons below, though accessible without ropes, ropes makes getting this much easier. Signpost 21

Trash Note

Most of the trash today is litter from people hanging out, and is concentrated near the road, but significant amounts flow down moderate to steep slopes, and will take a significant effort to remove.

Hillside is best accessed by repelling down moderate slopes to reach trash below. Sunny area.

Previously a significant dumping spot. Signifiant amounts of trash remain on the slopes below.

Hazards & Safety

Watch for fast moving cars along Grizzly Peak Blvd. Make sure to wear safety gear when working along roads.

Significant amounts of poison oak along roadside.

Moderately steep slopes, best accessed by repelling on ropes.

Getting There & Parking

Parking along Grizzly.

Trash Disposal

Pile trash off the right-of-way, preferably next to trash cans, where it can easily be loaded into a truck.
