About this Spot
Grizzly Peak Blvd from Centennial to the Jordan Fire Trail (about 0.2 miles). See signpost 11 at the Jordan Fire Trail. This section includes all of the ‘parking area’ along Grizzly, near the Space Sciences building. Bonus points for untrashing the parking lots for the Jordan Fire Trail and around the Space Sciences Building.
Trash Note
Trash in concentrated along the road, especially in parking areas. A significant amount of trash flows downhill from the road on both sides, be sure clean below the road.
Hazards & Safety
Watch for fast moving cars along Grizzly Peak Blvd.
Significant amounts of poison oak along roadside.
Getting There & Parking
Parking along Grizzly.
Trash Disposal
Small amounts, can be put in or nearby cans at Grizzly Peak overlook.
Large amounts, pile off the right-of-way, where it can easily be loaded into a truck.
