About this Spot

This segment includes the entire eastern side of the lake from the shoreline to the verge below the railroad tracks, from the Dreamland Playground down to the South Lot parking area.

Note that a large fraction of the trash is coming from the railroad tracks above and is flowing into the verge areas on the Eastern side of the park. This trash is largely invisible. To get to it both the rail tracks and the verge area below need to be thoroughly cleaned.

There are occasional campsites in the park (which are regularly cleared by Parks Dept) and a half dozen campsites along the railroad tracks above.
