About this Spot

This area includes the entire shoreline enclosed by Point Isabel in the North, and the Albany Bulb in the South. .

There is currently one active campsite about 100 yards from Buchanan along path.

Trash Note

There is significant amounts of windblown and waterborne trash from the fence down to the waterline. In particular, right next to the fence.

The outflow of Cerrito Creek has bags of trash from an abandoned campsite as well as numerous shopping carts the will require shovels, ropes and several people to remove from the mud.

There is a large trash field associated and active campsite about 100 yards South of Central Ave. and a second, smaller campsite across from Costco.

Getting There & Parking

This is a difficult area to remove trash from because there is limited space to stage trash piles out of the right-of-way. Pile bags close to the fence as possible. If possible remove trash to staging areas on Buchanan or Central.
