About this Spot
Dumping spot. When coming from Claremont Canyon Rd, this is the first pullover on the Right (about 400 yards). There is a large log here. See map for precise location.
Trash Note
This pullover is a frequent dumping spot, and there is a significant amount of trash down a very steep canyon.
Access using ropes to repel down these slopes. The large log has several anchors.
Hazards & Safety
Watch for fast moving cars along Grizzly Peak Blvd. Make sure to wear safety gear when working along roads.
Significant amounts of poison oak along roadside.
Steep slopes, best accessed by repelling on ropes.
Getting There & Parking
Parking at pullovers.
Trash Disposal
Small amounts, can be put in or nearby cans at Grizzly Peak overlooks.
Large amounts, pile off the right-of-way, where it can easily be loaded into a truck.
